Welcome to Barbara's Travel Photography web page Barbara Meyer is a wildlife photographer, who works closely with wildlife conservation and here in particular with Big Cat conservation. From the beginning of her professional career as a wildlife photographer, Barbara has donated 20% of sales proceeds to conservation groups related to the subjects in her photos. The interest in Big Cats resulted from a trip to South Africa, where Barbara was not only lucky to see leopards, but was also able to watch and photograph two leopard cubs playing with each other and interacting with their mum. Following this trip Barbara established contact with the Landmark Foundation in South Africa, which works on a project around the Cape leopard. In the long-term Barbara hopes to go back to South Africa and produce a photographic documentation about the work of the Landmark Foundation and the issues around the Cape Leopard. In the meantime, she has started working closely with the UK’s largest Big Cat Breeding Centre, the Wildlife Heritage Foundation (WHF). She not only donates 20% of proceeds from sales of her photos to WHF, but she provides also courses in Photography for Beginners and Wildlife Photography at the Big Cat Breeding Centre in Smarden, Kent. These course are run under the trading name Big Cat Photography. Both photography courses (Photography for Beginners and Wildlife Photography) can be booked directly from this web page. Besides the photography courses you can of course purchase Barbara’s Big Cat photography from this web page. All products are also available at Barbara’s Big Cat World market stalls in Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Furthermore, we now offer to visit you at your home, where you can choose from our Big Cat and wildlife photography selection while seeing how it fits in with your interior design and furniture. We hope you enjoy your visit to Barbara’s Travel Photography web page. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”).
